Norwegian prohibits weapons, illegal drugs, drones, explosives, heating appliances, large batteries and dangerous chemicals.
- Small fans are subject to security inspection and approval.
- Hair dryers, flat irons, curling irons and shavers are allowed when used with proper caution.
Norwegian Cruise Line luggage policy
Each guest may check two pieces of luggage, with a maximum weight of 50 pounds per piece.
- Hand-carried luggage must fit the terminal x-ray machine, approximately 24 inches tall by 18 inches wide; larger bags must be checked.
- Carry medication, valuables, documents and a first-evening change of clothes.
Norwegian Cruise Line dress code by night
Norwegian does not require a fleet-wide formal night and asks guests to dress for each dining setting.
- Shirts, footwear, respectful graphics and appropriate dining-room coverage are required.
- Swimwear is reserved for the pool, and extremely short shorts are not accepted in dining settings.

All staterooms provide a television, safe, hair dryer and bath products; minibar items are charged when used.
- Ships provide 110V and 220V AC power, but some high-voltage hair dryers, electric rollers and electric razors may require a converter.
