Walt Disney World Resort bag size limit

Maximum published box: 24 x 15 x 18 inches (61 x 38 x 46 cm).

Bags, coolers, suitcases and backpacks must be no larger than 24 x 15 x 18 inches.

  • The rule covers all four theme parks and the water parks.
  • Bags with or without wheels use the same limit.

Walt Disney World Resort prohibited items

Weapons, glass containers, folding chairs, selfie sticks, wagons and loose or dry ice are prohibited.

  • Balloons and plastic straws have extra restrictions at Animal Kingdom.
  • Reusable ice packs are recommended.
  • Tripods and monopods must fit in a standard backpack and may not extend over 6 feet.
  • Drones, remote-control toys, skateboards, scooters, inline skates and shoes with built-in wheels are prohibited.

Walt Disney World Resort food and drink policy

Outside food and nonalcoholic drinks are allowed for personal use if they need no temperature control or processing.

  • Glass containers and food with strong odors are not allowed.
  • Tell Security about food when entering.

Walt Disney World Resort lockers

Theme-park lockers cost $10, $12 or $15 per day, depending on size and park.

  • Jumbo lockers are available only at Magic Kingdom and Epcot.
  • Rentals are first come, first served.
  • One daily charge provides access to the same keyless locker throughout the day.
  • Cash and major credit cards work at the self-service kiosk; MagicBand and gift-card payments require help at the nearest merchandise location.

Walt Disney World Resort strollers and wheelchairs

Strollers may not exceed 31 inches wide by 52 inches long, and stroller wagons are prohibited.

  • Mobility devices should not exceed 36 inches wide by 52 inches long.
  • The rule applies across the resort theme parks.
  • Mobility devices must have at least three wheels, remain stable when stopped and be operated at walking pace.
  • A mobility device should carry one rider; trailers towed or pushed by a stroller, wheelchair, person or mobility device are prohibited.
