All guests pass through security screening and have their bags inspected.

Six Flags prohibited items

Weapons, drones, selfie sticks and items that park security considers unsafe are prohibited.

Other Six Flags locations may publish additional restrictions.
Great Adventure also prohibits knives, self-defense sprays, glass bottles, laser pointers, tripods and monopods.
Cameras mounted to a vehicle, drone, cart, scooter or other moving object are prohibited.

Six Flags food and drink policy

Great Adventure prohibits outside food, drinks, coolers and grills, with limited allergy and infant-food exceptions.

Allergy food is limited to the individual guest and may include two 7 x 8 inch sealable sandwich bags plus one snack.
A small soft-sided cooler is allowed for approved allergy food after Security issues a medical sticker.
Infant food is allowed in non-glass jars; grills and open flames are prohibited throughout the property, including parking lots.
Outside beverages are not included in the allergy exception.

Six Flags lockers

Loose articles must be left with a non-rider or secured in a locker where an attraction requires it.

Locker locations and charges vary by park and ride.
Great Adventure does not publish one chain-wide price.
Items left unattended outside ride entrances are treated as abandoned and discarded.

Six Flags strollers and wheelchairs

Strollers and mobility devices are handled by each location, with local rental and attraction rules.

No chain-wide stroller size maximum is published.
At Great Adventure, rentals are first come, first served near Guest Relations after the Main Gate.
Great Adventure publishes $25 manual-wheelchair and $55 electric-convenience-vehicle rental prices, and the ECV renter must be at least 18.
